What Does You Seed Breed?

Think back to when you were a little kid, and your teacher says that we are going to do a science experiment where they grow a plant from a pack of seeds. The teacher gives each student a few seeds along with a small pot and soil. Each child shows their excitement because they are anticipating what type of plants will germinate from the seeds that they are going to plant. Of course, not one child knows exactly what will come out, but they know something will appear over time. Even if the child is told what type of seed they have been given; they will still be expecting something from that plant.
In our own lives, we know that the things that we plant will germinate into something that will either breed some beneficial or something detrimental. What exactly does that look like? If you are someone that loves to eat fast food everyday all day; your seed will breed high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, heart diseases, etc. If you plant the seeds of drinking a bottle of vodka or tequila every day; your seed will breed cirrhosis and a breakdown in your relationships with your family, friends and your way of life. Lastly, if you are someone who plants seeds of mistreating people in your life, tearing people down and having no regard for their feelings, your seed will breed the same thing happening to you.
The scripture tells us in Galatians 6:8 "Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." What seeds are you sowing today? Are they seeds that are beneficial? Are they seeds that will bring life or destruction? What does your seed breed?
Does your BREED bring Blessings Resilience Empathy Elevation Devotion or it Brings Ruin Evil and a Erratic Demise? Ask God to help you examine the type of seeds that you have been planting and if your seeds don't breed what will help you; may God uproot and replant what is contributing to your demise.

Prayer for Men Working on the Seeds that They Have Planted
Heavenly Father, we lift up the men who find themselves wrestling with the seeds they’ve sown—seeds of time, effort, and intention. These seeds, once planted, carry weight and responsibility. Yet, some have faced challenges, setbacks, and doubts.
Lord, we beseech You to fortify these men. May they derive strength from Your divine love. Heal the emotional wounds caused by life’s distresses. Infuse them with Your renewing power. Lead them on a path of healing, resilience, and renewal.
Guide them, O God, as they tend to the garden of their souls. May they uproot weeds of doubt, water seeds of faith, and nurture the soil of their hearts. Grant them wisdom to discern which seeds to cultivate and which to discard.
In their struggles, remind them that growth is a process. Just as a seed buried in darkness eventually reaches for the light, may these men find hope even in their darkest moments. May their spiritual roots run deep, anchoring them in Your grace.
Empower them, Lord, to seek forgiveness where needed—to forgive themselves and others. May they learn from past mistakes, knowing that growth often sprouts from the soil of humility.
Multiply their efforts, O God. Where seeds of time and service have been sown, we pray that those seeds enter the hearts of the lost to quicken them to salvation. We ask for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in each person who has been ministered to. May their salvation be multiplied by all they come into contact with.
Bless these men, Father. May their journey be one of transformation, redemption, and purpose. As they continue to plant and tend to the seeds of their lives, may they find solace in Your promise: “Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy” (Psalm 126:5).
In Your gracious name, we pray. Amen. 🌱🙏
